TALK ABOUT ATTENTIVENESS!!
This was an incredible lesson about the teachings of the Catholic church. Remember: We do not learn anything to strive with men, but to instruct in truth and love those that oppose. Thank God for His word! His word is Truth!
Last week CCN Ramapo had blessed time in the Lord as we discussed one of the most controversial topics in "Christianity:" Catholicism. Through personal testimonies shared by Jonathan, Courtney, and Kyle along with the the Bible, we dove headfirst into the religion to discuss its shaky doctrines.
Of course this was also a time when we discussed how we should speak to Catholics about the Gospel. As it is always stressed, we do not have to be attacking their doctrines, but rather show them how they have fallen short through the Ten Commandments. Then how Jesus Christ was crucified for our sins and rose again on the third day to give us life. It was TRULY an eye opening experience for most of us, who already had preconceived notions about Catholicism. After this lesson, however, we left our biases behind us, and were ready to share the TRUE GOSPEL OF GOD.
