PROPITIATION???
On Tuesday we had awesome time in prayer. If you are receiving this emails, then you are the one we are praying for! We also studied something that you may have never even heard about... "propitiation." It is one of the most important words in Scripture
. It is what God has done for everyone of his children: Providing a substitute, Jesus, to absorb the just wrath of God because of our sin (lying, lusting, stealing, pride, etc), and then giving us the favor that we do not deserve.
"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the (wrath absorbing) propitiation for our sins." 1 John 4:10
Come this Thursday and you too will be strengthened in your theology.
You will learn one of the most hated biblical truths, that will bring you amazing joy. If it brings joy to the Christian, then why is it hated?
